Did you happen across any of the history of Jane Beatrice Mills (Lady Granard) in your book research? My aunt was her Lady’s Maid and frequently travelled to Hotel Broglie in Paris with her. My dad was interviewed by her at Castle Forbes for the job he got as footman for her daughter Lady Eileen at Dumfries House in the mid-50s. Lots of history there.
