Still tearing up myself every time I hear the story of your "Accidental Marathon", the way you pushed through, then Nestor leaping the barricade at the end...lovely, stunning, amazing. And Jack and Emma did so well!! Kudos to all!! (...but maybe next time you should train for it?š)Can't wait to see more about the new Kitchen Gardens!XOX
Thank you lovely! Iām still on such a high - and tearing up from time to time! Def another marathon for me - but yes, will properly train next time around!! Xx
FANTASTIC STORIES !! CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL OF YOUR AMAZING ACHIEVEMENTS, and super that you could share so much of it with your family.
FYI:
Millie Pilkington, photographer of Julie's now famous photo in the April 30th 2025 issue of Country Life, was chosen by the royal family to produce this year's official birthday portrait photo of King Charles. Great photo of the king, but you are much prettier.
Sometimes we don't know what we are ready for until circumstances put us right in the middle of it! It's so inspiring that even though you didn't attempt the whole thing on purpose, you showed yourself and the world that the power that lives inside you just was there just waiting to be set free. We all need that kind of inspirationā” Congratulations
Terrific achievement, Julie!! You have done your Fisher roots proud. I used to have to run miles and miles when I was in the Canadian Army and I hated it. Whereas you accidentally end up in the wrong queue and complete a marathon. Now that's determination!! Nestor's surprise and your fabulous reaction was the type of thing we all need to see more of to remain us of true humanity. Very best wishes, "cousin" John
I came across your YouTube channel by accident about a month ago and love it! I watch an episode every morning while I do my exercises. I lived in Illinois most of my adult life and also lived in Sonning-on-Thames from 2000-2003, so we have something in common. Keep up the great work on bringing awareness and fun to European history!
šš¦š³Dear Julie, you are a real Phoenix Woman and a wonderful loving mother and wife with adorable children as well!
The Marathon-Story reflects this - being prepared to run 10K and ending up to run a full marathon and reaching the goal cheered up and supported by your children while the Christmas Market at Mapperton is a huge success.
I am so happy for you, Luke and your family, that you are rewarded for all the love, passion, endurance, commitment in facing and overcoming the challenges in all sectors of life for so many years.
2026 will bring even more Phoenix Rising Stories into your lives - and I am looking forward to them.
